October/November: a 2 day event/workshop in Poland aimed at SMEs on the topic of occupational psychology and ergonomics and linked to the campaign topic. The workshop will be organised as the first of 8 workshops delivered for employeers in the years 2009-2013 (1 event in 2009, 2 events in 2010, 2011, 2012, and one event in 2013). The workshop will be prepared by Medicover ergonomy and psychology experts, in partnership with Cardinal Stefan Wyszynski University in Warsaw as the part of EU founds supported partnership project.
The exact date for the 2009 event will be defined in September.

Performance of ergonomy audits at our customers’ facilities 30 – 40 audits per year, both in office and production area including ergonomic and mental workload risk assessment

10 – 15 trainings per year “Train The Trainers” dedicated to team leaders inside client’s company about occupational health, safety, risk factors, risk assessment methods

seminars (25-30 per year) about MSD’s, risk assessment and stress management

introduction of our new brochure "Guide for Risk Assessment in Small and Medium Enterprises – Mental Workload" (one of the authors is Ania Uściłowska – Medicover occupational psychologist)
We foresee arrange and organize dedicated seminars, training for experts and distribution (papers or electronic) October/mid November. This is the first guide of its kind in Poland

  • Creating Central Occupational Health Unit within Medicover structures with specialists from ergonomics, occupational psychology, risk assessment;
  • International collaboration with multinational experts about Guideline for Risk Assessment in SME’s for mental workload (project run by ISSA with Medicover’s occupational psychologist participation);
  • Short web questionnaire for our Clients about “Stress at work” on Medicover’s website;
  • Guideline about back pain and ergonomics at work (free downloads from Medicover’s website);
  • Media actions: interviews with news papers, professional magazines, TV, radio about risk assessment and occupational health topics;
  • The campaign logo will be displayed on all Medicover websites, newsletters and staff will be encourage to use logo in e-mail signatures;
  • Good neighbour schemes: in Hungary one of the projects is dedicated to organise corporate health family days under the slogan “Posture is pleasure”;
  • Partnership: In Hungary Medicover will through the Foundation supported project “MSD on site screenings” be working with the Association of Hungarian Physiotherapists.
  • Five projects on Musculoskeletal disorders in PL, RO, HU, CZ, SK funded by the Medicover Foundation. These projects and their activities can easily be coupled with the Healthy Workplace Campaign. Each of the projects has its own communication plan and budget.
