Hazard spotting 31.10.2005

We held a staff teach-in on hazard spotting, organised a health and safety quiz, started a suggestion box, organised staff ‘hands on’ fire training with extinguishers, and formalised our food hygiene policy and risk assessments.

"It is crucial that young people are taken into account in all issues that concern them, and that youth organisations are consulted at all levels to that effect. Occupational health and safety is obviously one such area considering the need to create quality jobs for young people in Europe and that non-fatal accidents are much more common among young workers than among other groups of workers.
