Guide Dogs for the Blind consulted with its 70 staff for ideas to reduce accidents in the workplace and to reduce absenteeism. They held a fire drill, and acted on the risks identified, and introduced tactile road markings to help clients safely cross the road without bumping into lamp-posts and other street furniture. They also reviewed all outdoor and indoor hazards and refined procedures.
