Building sites bite 31.10.2005

Schoolchildren were shown the dangers and hazards of a building site by retail construction specialists and Mole M, the company’s construction safety mascot, gave them a tour round the site and presentations on the building site.

"European Weeks have turned into a real trademark. In Austria much is being done. Seventeen labour inspectorates realised projects with partner schools, and the outcomes will be presented in October during a conference in Vienna. We also issued a special ‘Safe Start’ postage stamp on the day of the launch.
I am convinced that this European Week will contribute to a further improvement of health and safety at work, and I wish everyone great success."
