One of the largest farming businesses in the UK runs one of the country’s top farming visitor attraction centres designed to encourage children to safely sample a day of the farm. In the build-up to the Week they gave lessons in farm safety to visiting schoolchildren which attracted extensive media publicity. During the Week, they extended this exercise into the classroom and produced a farm safety document for teachers which as subsequently distributed to 150 local schools.
