A Primary School ran a campaign aimed at adults. The pupils displayed a remarkable ability to understand risk assessment and accident prevention.
The majority of the hazards identified by the pupils involved their own untidiness in cloakrooms and classes. A look at the school’s accident book revealed that most accidents involved pupils running into walls as the school is open plan! The school followed up their initiative with a poetry competition about stress, and the results were published on the HSE website.
